we were lucky as we got to see it live thanks to Sky Sports, we did get to see Alessandro quite a lot both the downtown celebration with the bus and the San Siro one. One of our favorite moments during the San Siro celebrations, was when he was playing with Rino's daughter and he made her hold the cup with him....awwhhh too cute! We can't wait to see him celebrating with little Sofia :-)

Just in case anyone out there hasn't already seen them, there are several Milan videos on YouTube of the open-topped bus trip and the San Siro event on Saturday night
and more, which have been bringing a smile to my face (even if Sandro is mainly conspicuous by his absence, as usual!)
I think I'm eventually coming to terms with it all now - by kick-off I was strangely calm (and worried, since I realised that really, I expected us to win - oh dear!) I don't feel that it was really revenge for 2005, but I do feel like some ghosts have been laid to rest. Over the football drought of the summer, I may even re-play the 2005 video, something I couldn't even bear to think of doing before Wednesday night.
Now if we can just follow the recent pattern, it'll be the scudetto next year!
