The Gazetta dello Sport has an interview with Nesta at

My Italian is not up to translating it, but it seems he will not be
back in Milan until 28th February and is denying having a lengthy
holiday by the sea! (Although his description of his Sundays in Miami
sounds pretty relaxed... Up at 8 am for breakfast, watches a Serie A
game on TV at 9, followed by a game from La Liga, then out for lunch
and a stroll to the market. Then another Serie A game in the
afternoon, and nearly always spends the evening at home with Gabriela
and Sofia.) The article quotes him as saying he will not be going back
to Lazio, as he's still young and wants to play at the highest level,
including Champions League, is not thinking of playing abroad, does not
think it is the time to talk about signing an extension with Milan
while he is injured, but if he re-signs he'll stay for another four
years, then leave. (I think.) If anyone has the necessary skills to
translate, please do!
