Re: [Nesta the Minister of Defense] Injury update

Marion,

Yes I read in the newspaper that Bravo discontinued the coverage on Serie A in UK.  Must be a blow for Itlian football fans in UK.  Try to use internet streaming.  The quality is bad, but its free and its better than nothing.  Thats how I get my italian football feeds living in football deprived US.  Try these links:  www.rojadirecta.com  www.myp2p.eu

Hi Girls,

Thanks for the responses - have been having anti-virus problems so
couldn't respond sooner.

There's an update today on the Milan site, quoting Milan medical
director Jean Pierre Meersseman as follows:

"Alessandro Nesta will need a bit more time before he is back on the
field. Meersseman said: 'He is doing better. According to the initial
evaluation, it will be another month before he can return. He is
preparing but when he has a problem with his tendon he must respect the
natural time needed to recover. We hope that his injury will be totally
resolved by the first day of March and to have him available to play
between March 5 to 10."

So quite some way to go before we see Sandro again, then. Actually,
I'm having difficulty seeing any Italian football at all, since the
channel which was showing it in the UK pulled the plug on their
coverage before Christmas and are not resuming it, so no more James
Richardson for me - very sad! I'll now have to pay an additional
subscription beyond my Sky membership to see any coverage at all. I'm
trying to decide whether I just pay up now, or wait until Sandro
recovers and save the money (you have to take a full year's
subscription.) Since Milan seem to have been playing better since I
stopped being able to watch them, maybe it's better if I don't sign
up...

Ming - I didn't know he was already a Cavaliere, so I guess he's
already been there, done that. (And is it only me who has been
thinking he shouldn't be lugging that baby around in a harness if he's
got a sore shoulder?!)
