is there any new news, about the situation

on the nature of Nesta's family
problems, or how the situation is developing. But here is how the
Chinese "Football" magazine reports about Nesta's departure from the
NT's training center, in rough translation into English:
-------------------------
On Tuesday, at 5PM, when Nesta was preparing to get into the dressing
room, he received a phone call from his girl friend. The news from
home left him in shock. He immediately found coach Lippi and asked to
leave the training center.
"Due to serious family problem" is the official reason given for
Nesta's request for leave from the NT. To protect the player's
privacy, no further explanations were given.
-------------------------
Nesta has always been a very private person. He doesn't talk about his
personal issues and problems in public. Obviously Lippi, the NT's
management and probably also his teammates know the exact reasons why
he had to go home, but nobody is talking to the media about it.
While we still don't know (and probably won't know) any details about
his "family situation", from the above piece of news and also from
Metarazzi's interview the other day, at least we can take some comfort
in the fact that the NT, the coach and his teammates fully respect
Nesta's request for privacy, and are very supportive and protective of
him.
