Absolutely nothing to do with my job... I have to say how terribly sad I was to
hear about this incident... Ironically, I read about the tragedy in a National
Paper whilst I was away from the region but only realised the connection with
the NE rowing community when I returned today and checked my e mail.

Some things in life just aren't right and this is one of them.... my heart goes
out to the Wilkinson family; I do not know them but for those who do and for the
family my sympathy and thoughts. I'm sure everyone on this news group will feel
the same.

A service for Geoff and Victoria Wilkinson will take place at Hexham Abbey on
Wednesday the 22 July 2009 at 11.00. Father and daughter will then be buried in
the Kirkwelpington village church yard. It is a small village church yard so
Kate has requested only family and close friends, please.
