Dear Region,

Many thanks for all those who have returned application forms for the
Club Development Conference taking place on Sunday 18th January.

The conference will take place at Durham University... We shall meet
for coffee in the cafe outside the Arthur Holmes Lecture Theatre in
the science site off Stockton Road in Durham at 10.30am. Formal
presentations will start at 11am

If you go to http://www.dur.ac.uk/map/durham/ you will see a map of
the university with the science site prominantly marked.
Conveniently, the entrance to the venue we are using is the first on
your right as you turn in to the science site off Stockton Road...
The Number 15 shows where the venue is on the map. If you pass on
through the gatehouse and up the street 200m there is a large carpark
on your right.

I am still awaiting delegate nominations from City of Sunderland,
Berwick, Tyne United, Tynemouth and Hexham regarding the open clubs
and most of the Universities (bar DU), colleges (bar Trev's and
Butler) and schools (bar St Leonards). If you wish to send
delegates, please contact me as soon as possible with numbers,
preferably filling in the application form I posted on NE online

Don't forget that the conference will include certificated workshops
on Equity and Safeguarding Children, necessary for clubmark
accreditation as well as being vital for Club Welfare Officers. There
is also workshops on Row Safe, the new water safety code and the ARA
new five year Plan 2009-12...

All this and a free lunch... What more could you wish for!
