I have a pair of Jerry Sutton wooden sculls gathering dust (as well as
my wife's ire) in my home in central Durham. One of them has twisted
(presumably due to improper storage), and has about eight degrees of
pitch on it, whereas the other has two, so they are hopeless for
sculling. However, they would certainly look splendid on someone's
wall. The spoons have never been painted, so are currently in their
original varnished finish, but could be painted up for presentation.
They are much too beautiful to cut up for firewood!
Any reasonable offer accepted. Buyer to collect.
