69,582 (sellout) A WEDNESDAY NIGHT friendly at Reliant Stadium in Houston, MEXICO at USA. Still the most-attended sporting event EVER at that stadium.

68,396 (sellout) An INTERNATIONAL friendly at Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelpia, FC Barcelona v Manchester United. Inaugural event at that NFL stadium.  As of now, still highest paid attendance of ANY SPORTING EVENT held so far at that stadium.

66,722 (sellout) On A TUESDAY NIGHT, Manchester United
beat Glasgow Celtic 4-0 in a friendly that was the largest-ever crowd FOR ANY SPORTING EVENT EVER HELD at Seattle Seahawks Stadium.

61,316 MLS Cup Championship held at Foxboro, MA in Gillette Stadium.  Home Team New England Revolution faced L.A. (Galaxy won 1-0).

60,142 A REGULAR SEASON match held between Kansas City Wizards and home team Colorado Rapids, in their traditional Independence Day match-up.

54,432 An INTERNATIONAL freindly this summer at Chicago's Soldier Field, Real Madrid's 3-1 win over Chivas Guadalajara.

47,637 INTERNATIONAL friendly, USA hosting ENGLAND at Chicago's Soldier Field.  This spring's meeting was the first between the two men's sides since 1994.
