News from the SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES (MLS):

It's been several years since San Jose has been without the services of Landon Donovan, but they showed that they are already learning how to do without him this weekend, when they hosted New England Revs in the season-opener for both teams at Spartan Stadium.

 

The Earthquakes scored two goals in the first half, but in the second 45, Revolution also scored twice, leaving all to settle for a draw this time.

 

Next Saturday's Earthquakes match will be the featured on "Soccer Saturday" (ESPN-2 at 1 PM PDT), as they will host the CHIVAS USA expansion team (they lost 1st match to DC UNITED).  Here are the goals scored this weekend.  more..http://www.sjearthquakes.com
