The Verge New England Championship Cyclo-Cross Series is seeking a Media
Director for the 2005 season.

The Media Director is responsible for all Series communications, and works
with all Series Staff. This includes creating sponsor updates, pre-event
press releases, writing race reports, collecting race results from Series
Results Director and photos from the Series Photographer, and distributing
post-race press releases to all media on the same day of an event.

Series Staff positions are currently volunteer positions. However, all
Series Staff receive free entry into Series events. This is an ideal
position for someone racing in an earlier event who plans to stick around
and watch the elite races.

This is also a good opportunity for an internship for a student in the
sports marketing, management, or communication fields.
