Jack, I think thats a killer idea. Just make sure to mention this again as
we get closer.

But why not unleash the crossers on the MTB fields?

Hello all,



Jack Chapman here, avid crosser and promoter of the "Watershed Wahoo"
mountain bike race in Candia, NH. This May 15th will be the 10th running of
our MTB "Spring Classic" and to give our sport a bit of publicity, I'm
considering running an Open Cyclocross class. This course is pretty well
suited to 'cross with only 150' of single-track and the rest fire roads.
Over the years we've had a distinguished group of competitors including a
Carrington, Minasian and Leedberg, all on suspended steeds. JP and Cori
were
the overall men's and women's champs in '03, again on mtn. bikes. I'd love
to have half dozen or more crossers show just what's possible with drop
bars
and rigid forks! Feedback is greatly appreciated!
