Hello All,

Joe is still in Salem hospital. He is hoping to come home tomorrow after
another MRI. He's got 8 stitches in his head about his temple. They are
closely watching a "spot" which they believe was bleeding of the brain. He's
pretty banged up but when I spoke with him for about 2 hours today, he's ready
to get back on the bike. He got Tommy's message from his answering machine and
feels bad that everyone is worried. He is just waiting to hear that the "spot"
is shrinking and they'll let him go. His helmet was pretty badly destroyed.
He's got lots of cuts and scrapes on his face. Tommy, don't worry, he's in good
spirits and said he'd just have to beat you in the next race that your side by
side .. :-)
