Hey Jack. Normally the stem above the hub thing rule
is the same. position should be the same as on the
road bike. One difference is that the handlebar is
typically higher than your road bike, as riding in the
drops is seen more in cross. I run a 40cm bar on my
road bike, but on the cross I run a 42cm just to get
the better handling.

This fall will be the third year that we (UNH) have
run our wednesday night cross series. I am trying to
find new ways to promote it. I talked to Len a little
about running a joint EFTA event, but then the
question of the profits became a problem. We like to
keep the profits as we use them to support our cross
nationals team, mainly this covers just the plave
tickets. Let me know if you have any ideas.
