I was extraordinarily pleased — sorry, words don’t serve me — by the help, turnout and work by so many racers, parents and friends at today’s epic (but no rain!) NCVC Tyson’s Corner Circuit race.
Many folks raced, putting in hard, substantial and often Lance Armstrong medal-winning efforts, achieving personal bests and helping teammates. Some Juniors raced in three events, and we were competitive in every event where we showed: J10-14, J15-18, Cat 5, Cat 4, Cat 3/4 and Pro/123!
The effort by so many — the mighty friends and families Mauch, Kendall, Black, Klise, Allison, Torres, Lindeman, Kiernan and, or course, Carolyn — was stupendous. We grossed $580 ... Great work!
