Thanks for taking Troy.  As a continuing testament to the quality of your Juniors program, Zack won the Pro/1/2 race and came in fourth in the collegiate Mens A race at yesterday's CSU Oval Criterium. This is against the top pros coming off of the Tour of California with teams like OUCH, Jelly-Belly and BMC, most of whom live and train in the area. A collegiate pro from the Jelly Belly squad took the men's A race while Zack got blocked out of a podium finish in the last turn. In a sweet revenge in the Pro/1/2 race later that day, his Rocky Mountain Bicycles Elite teammate Eddie Gragus (former US Pro National Champion and NCVC rider) led him out of the last turn for the sprint and the win. Prize for the collegite men's A race: merchandise. Prize for the Pro/1/2 race winner: $100 - who's crying now! NCVC's Russell Brown was also in the collegiate race representing Ft. Lewis College. Both CSU and Ft. Lewis have cycling scholarships now.
