Dear NCTTA members,
Several important announcements....
1) Signed membership agreements and the $50 membership fee are due before the
first regional meets. For those divisions that already held their first meet of
the year, those items are due NOW. Please make the checks payable to NCTTA and
mail it, along with signed membership agreements, to our treasurer:
Michell Hu
Box 94590
Duke Univ.
Durham, NC 27708
Please coordinate it with your division directors, and get the materials in
ASAP. If you need an invoice/receipts or have any questions, please e-mail
Michelle at treasurer@...
2) please read the NCTTA guidelines and understand the league rules. All the
important documents are under the "Document section" on the left menu bar of our
main page at www.nctta.org
3) please understand that the first regional meets need to take place prior to
the start of the Christmas vacation and the second or the final regional meet of
the year need to be done at least 5 weeks prior to the National championship
weekend (this year, the deadline for last meet will be on or before March 4,
2004). These are mentioned in the appropriate league documents.
4) I wish to bring your attention to the $350,000 Killerspin Extreme Table
Tennis Weekend taking place on Dec. 27-29, 2003 (please see Killerspin
representative, Art Shiu's, letter at the end of this e-mail for more details).
Over that weekend, you will get a chance to play in an USATT-sanctioned
tournament. Many rating events are available. Furthermore, you will see some
of the international table tennis stars competing in a couple special events.
Over 12 of the top 20 or so table tennis players in the world will show up. If
you do plan to attend, please sign up by mailing in the entry form or sign up
online (available on NCTTA's main page at www.nctta.org) and give me an e-mail
at vicepresident@... . I am required to submit a list of NCTTA entrants.
Finally, I am still working on the table discounts. I will give out more update
ASAP.
Thanks!
