Randonneurs,

We are hosting the Sauratown 200 KM Brevet on Saturday, March 24, 2007
at Oak Hollow Marina in High Point, NC. Registration starts at 6:00 AM
and the ride is scheduled to begin at 7:00 AM. The cost is $17 per
rider. Tandems $30 ($4 savings).

In addition to the 200 KM course, we also offer a shorter 100 KM
course (Sauratown Lite).

Note that it will be dark at the start of the ride since DST is in
effect. Sunrise will be at 7:18 AM. Anyone wishing to depart on
schedule will need their lights, reflective vests, etc. This is a
randonneuring event so this should come as no surprise. For those
wishing to ride without lights, we will hold a mass start at 7:30 AM
for the 200 KM route and 7:45 for the 100 KM route.

Each route has a rest stop at about the middle of the course. We
provide Gatorade, cookies, fruit, etc. As usual, we will fire-up the
grill around noon and feed you as you complete the ride. We serve hot
dogs, hamburgers, chips, soda, etc. Please e-mail any special requests
or alternate ideas (within reason). We do provide vegetarian burgers
also.

Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required. If you do not
pre-register, please fill-out a registration form and waiver ahead of
time to help save time on the ride day. If you think that you might
ride, please reply back to this message. It will help for planning
purposes to get a rough count.

The brochure with registration form, driving directions, etc. can be
downloaded at http://web.northstate.net/~jalawrence/ We provide
several versions of cuesheets (small print laminated, or large print)
at the ride. If you want an electronic copy that you can customize,
you can download them from the site (mentioned above) as well.

For information about RUSA, or to become a member, please visit
www.rusa.org < http://www.rusa.org/>

We are e-mailing this reminder because you have ridden this event in
the past. If you don't want to receive e-mail from us in the future,
please let us know. Thanks for your past participation.

Please forward this message to any other riders that might be interested.

We look forward to seeing you at the ride.
