The Narragansett Bay Wheelmen email group's purpose is for public NBW and bicycling advocacy announcements, event/ride notices, updates, reports & news to club members and others interested in RI/MA/CT cycling and the NBW. Possible uses include:

- last-minute notices or reminders
- ride reports: talk about the rides, how much fun you had, and people you met along the way
- discussion of NBW rides, events, and other activities
- announcements of other bicycling-related activities that might interest NBW members (no unsolicited commercial email, though)
- discussion of bicycle routes and bicycle commuting in the area
- discussion of bicycling advocacy & transportation issues
- discussion of why there are so many more potholes in Rhode Island than in SE Mass. :-)
- etc.
