Note to Ron Artest   Message List

Extremely physically talented, but mentally challenged. How in the
world do you know that there is a target on you and still do something
stupid, which is assuming he actually realized he was marked man. It
doesn't take genius to see it or at least look at history, Dennis
Rodman. Anything he did was charged as criminal, some of it was off
the wall, other things were ticky-tack stuff. But Artest is his own
man but follows in the footsteps of another. He says he's learned,
apparently not enough to let his game show his stuff instead of his
terrible attempt at intimidation. Barkley was better at it, Lambeer
was the man at it, Artest is a hack at intimidation. Which with the
skill he actually possesses as a player and major contributor you
wonder why he thinks he needs antics.

Sir Charles was made up like that, but more times than not he let his
game do the talking, Lambeer was kind of like Rodman, ten boards,
decent point production, and a huge helping of not in my house,
whether through blocking a shot or just body blocking. Artest is just
too obvious with his stuff, it seems like he thinks about stuff before
he does it. I used to play basketball in school, I'm an Black male and
I went to an all white school that played nothing but white teams in
Oklahoma, I learned quickly that you can't be obvious with payback
but, there is always a way to pay someone back without being obvious,
do it in the flow of the game.

Dennis Rodman Bulls vs. Jazz, Stockton makes a cut through the middle,
Rodman sticks out his leg and knees Stockton. He gets a foul called on
him but Johnny Stock wasn't the same the rest of the game. Lambeer
made countless people rethink driving to the hole, while it appeared
that he was trying to block a shot, he dropped an elbow or but a body
block on the offensive player. Barkley would grab shirts of
rebounders, stick his elbow in peoples backs, or whatever else, we are
obviously omitting the Artest-like actions of Sir Charles (spitting
incident).

But there is always a way if it needs to be done, so hey Ron stop
thinking you're so smart and learn a lesson of either stop doing it or
learn how to do it.
