The Spurs wanted Maggette and now I know why they didn't sign him. And I think
the answer is yes, many of them are, or at least make some dumbass decisions.
Look at Kerr in PHX. He morgaged their complete future on a player who has been
on the decline for years. But GS GM takes them all. Just look at their draft.
Speaking of dumb. How about Dallas letting Diop go to NJ and then realizing they
need him, sign him for $50 mil plus when they were palying him under $3 mil a
year. Talk about dumb.

50 million for Maggette? 72 million extension for Bogut????
Where is Maggette going to play? He's no better than Jackson/Harrington
or the glut of other swing forwards they have. Plus he's way to fragile
to pay 10 mill a year. Watch Ellis bolt after this move
Bogut is defenitly not worth a 72 million extension what are they
thinking. An average center for the price of Elton Brand. Can anyone
say Big Country Reeves... there's NO team who could have offered Bogut
that much btw. This practically insures that the Bucks will be unable
to sign any free agents from now on. With the East getting a lot
tougher (toronto, Philly, Miami and Chicago are much improved) this is
just a horrible move.
