RE: [NBA Hangout] Mavericks sell the the future to get Kidd

Well, nobody mentioned Rockets. Actually, Rocket is still strong and have chance
to beat any team in the league. Without a on-state T-mac, Yao still led the team
to gain 13 wins in the last 14 games. Don't care about the ranking, they are
sure to be in the playoffs. In this time, the western teams are trading now and
then, why don't we expect that Kidd going to Houston.T-mac for Kidd, isn't it
nice?

Harris and Stackhouse always kill SA. Glad they are gone. I agree Kidd is not
the answer. Now they have lost their interior defense and will get slaughtered
by the West big men. Nowiski is the one they need to get rid of. He has lost his
shot and confidence. He refused to get better and it has caught up to
him.jdbball <jdbball@...> wrote:Kidd for Devin HarrisAs part of the trade,
the Mavericks would also send Jerry Stackhouse, Devean George, DeSagna Diop,
Maurice Ager and $3 million to New Jersey. Along with Kidd, the Nets send
reserve forward Malik Allen to the Mavs. They trade away their point guard of
the future for one or two years of Kidd, I really still dont see them going
anywhere and now they dont have a point guard of the future. Diop was also
valuable for them. Especially now that they have to deal with Bynum/Gasol/Odom,
Duncan, Shaq and Amare. I dont like this trade for the Mavs but they feel had to
do something i suppose. It sends a message of distrust to the team i think.I
really dont see the Nets waiving Stackhouse when they can deal him to some other

Kidd doesn't fit their offense. I don't think he will make them that much better they don't have the kind of players to run with him. I bet Avery Johnson is...

I agree they gave up too much. What they need is interior offense. They should of dealt harder to get shaq. That would have made them the top team in the...
