well, generally I think that the Suns made a good deal. They don't have to slow
down for shaq because they had done very well with only two or three players
finishing a flashing attack. On the other hand, the exist of shaq will release
Amare to his favorite position and offter a much better first rebound which is
the key to run&gun. I admit now that the league is full of fantastic things.
WOW, I'm looking forward to the playoffs now.

I can't help but see the Shaq move as a desperate one for Phoenix. I am curious
to find out what Edgar has to say. Yes the Gasol move was one sided, but I do
not see it getting LA to the promised land. This years WC playoffs is once again
going to be great. The East well..I do have to admit that Boston is playing very
well. I would be worried about Gatnett's stomach. Those pulls can linger.jdbball

talent and they got him for next to nothing. The 2 picks are ok for Memphis but
they will be very late picks because LA just became a contender. The cap room
was a smart move but one wonders if they couldnt have gotten more.Memphis grade

Nets win this deal, they gamble on Swift a bit who could be useful for them with
Krstic hurting. However they lose his 6 mill contract and saved another 6 on the
terrible deal Collins had. Pretty nice start now only need to trade Kidd (and
ideally carter)for expiring contracts and you got a solid rebuilding team. (Kidd
is old unlike Gasol) For Memphis this trade is absolutely retarded as they lose
6 million capspace they just traded for with Gasol......Miami grade A+Shawn

3Miami gets a great great player in Marion. He does it all in a Scottie Pippen
type way and doesnt get enough credit. Banks is a solid point who could see more
playing time in Miami. Phoenix takes a HUGE HUGE gamble on Shaq as the missing
piece for the championship. Can he hold up for one more run? I dont think so but
dont hold it beyond shaq. Can he run with the Suns? Hell no but Amare will. Very
interested to see how this works out. If they dont win it's a complete disaster.
60 million is a ton of money for an old shaq.Don't look now but Miami can offer
4 expiring contracts straight up for Kidd. They would be solid next season or
even make a run for the playoffs with a line up: Blount, Haslem, Marion, Wade,
Kidd with Ricky Davis, Quin and Banks of the benchthis is the dealNew Jersey
