well I would like some imformation

anyone realizes what
kind of a free agent signing they really had. I would have to say
that they were one of the top five teams in free agent & Trading
signing this summer. Yes Miami did a pretty good job and so did the
Clippers. I think that the Rockets really bolstered their lineup.
They added Stromile swift and Derek Anderson. They kept Barry and
Mutumbo. Now not many realize how good Mutombo really was in Houston
Last year. But I say he is one of the top 2 Backup Centers in the
League. Him and Zo. In only 15 min a game he averaged 5.5 boards,
1.26 blocks and 4 points a game. The Rockets dont lose much when
mutombo comes in for his 15 minutes a game. Not to mention he played
80 games and started 2. They Signed Swift who is going to meet is
full potential this year with Houston. I see him around 12 points and
8 boards this year. Derek anderson is a proven passer, scorer, and
defender. He'll fit right in with Houston and get plenty of
opportunities to shoot the three and slash the lane with everyone
doubling down and yao and T-Mac. The projected Starting lineup is
going to be Yao at Center Swift at the PF McGrady at the sf and
Wesley and Anderson Fighting for the Two and then Sura at the one.
Now get down to the bench. You Got Dike backing up yao and then there
is Juwan Howard who is going to be healthy this year and back in good
form 10 points and 5 boards off the bench easy 25 minutes a game.
Then there is Jon barry and Mike James comming in to pump in the
threes and slash to the hoop. Houston is Very deep this year now. For
a team that won 51 games last year and only lost Scott Padgett and
Clarence Weatherspoon I would say that they certainly are shaped up
to look like Title Contenders to me.
By The way I see McGrady this year averaging 27-6-6 while Yao is
going to have his best year. In the offseason he has buffed up and
improved is game defensivley he is going to average 23 Points a game
11 boards and 2.5 blocks The Rockets have a chance to have 8 players
averagin in double figures. Probably be closer to 6 or 7 but Yao, T-
mac, Wesley, Anderson, Swift, sura, and James for sure then there is
barry and howard. Howard un healthy averaged 9.6 points a game last
year which was his first under 16 in his career. I think Rockets are
a top 3 team in the west.
San Antonio is Number one easy with Duncan NAzr Manu Parker and
the rest of their squad they go way deep.
Dallas got weaker this offseason. They Lost Finley and added a
gimpy Doug Christie. Phoenix Lost Richardson and Johnson. Didn't
really add anything. They are still buff with Amare Matrix and Nash.
Sacremento lost C-Webb Last Year, bobby Jackson and Cat Mobley in
the off season yet they still have good big men and are still strong.
Seattle will still be good but they are going to have a big trade
this season and I think it is going to be Rashard Lewis he isnt happy
playing second to Allen.
Denver will be stronger than last year but is Melo mature enough
I dunno. Minnesota is hurting big Time and we may see KG demand a mid
season trade if they arent over 500 30 games into the season. Memphis
the Clippers and the LAkers are all question marks for me. Cuttino
Moble yis my favorite player in the league and the clippers look
strong they could be a 7 or 8 spot as well as memphis. The lakers can
do anything with Kobe and I am looking for Kwame Brown to shape in to
a player this season like Jermaine O'neal did after his 4th season.
Portland is still hurting, Utah if healthy could make a p[layoff run.
Hornets are still garbage. Portland will be interesting to watch if
Randolph is healthy. I'll give you my east predictions tommorrow if
you want them.

Peace
-Ryan

I think the rockets are still missing the proper role players for that team. It remains that Tmac and Yao need to produce postseason victories....
