Half time of the Saints game. What a waste of tv time. I go for a jog around the block. Its raining and I decided not to get on my bike. So I'm coming back and I'm right in front of my house and this guy is coming down my street, rain coat on , packs everywhere, kinda looks like a small tank on two wheels. I'm thinking this guy is out here, I should be on my bike, so I give him a thumbs up and he slows and pulls over to talk. Fritz is german and he's riding around the world on a bicycle. He quickly gave me the whole route. Australia, Asia , Europe, U.S. Washington DC all the states down to Tupelo and finally Natchez, where he's taking tons of pictures with a 35 mm camera that's hanging around his neck and looks like it weighs as much as the rest of the packs. Anyway if you see Fritz , give him a thumbs up.

That sounds good. Because we have to rest up for next weekend when we play Friday and Saturday night at the Under the Hill Saloon from 10:00 untill 2:00. {Shameless plug for Black Bayou} Also I'm sure I can make it because I just had my bike tuned up by Mark Newman at Wester Auto. {Shameless plug for Mark}
One more thing. Are you cooking dinner before we ride?

Would someone in charge of race promotions please email me at
michaelroper@... to organize a LAMBRA 2005 MTB series. We have a
number of interested clubs and we would like to hear input from the
Mississippi side.
Thank You,
Michael Roper
That's two cancelled MTB races in one weekend, thankfully there is
the Spillway scramble near new orleans on Dec 5th for those itching
to race.
for info go to www.nomambo.com
I agree, there's not enough tequila in the state of MS for that...

The Hammer has been cancelled, the ambulance and a major sponsor have backed out this week and I can't recover this late in the game. We'll try again in the spring
Don't forget about the upcoming Spillway Scramble on December 5 at 9:00am. Check www.nomambo.com for info, register at www.active.com, and come out to our second race of the year!! We have plans in place for this race to be even better than the Spring race - better shirts, better prizes, better music (same food, though), and some surprises on the race course. The trail's in great shape and we'll groom it before the race so come on out and enjoy the (hopefully!) cool weather! If you have any questions that aren't answered on the website, e-mail me at info@....
You mean yall don't drink before and/or after.
where's the incentive?
You're all nuts!!!

We're going to meet at Trippe's Western Auto at 7:00. Small light so others
can see you or maybe a glow stick or two is all you need. You can see the road
even in the deep dark. Its kind of a dark velvet path. Fresh smooth pavement
and no cars.

Just think how much better your going to feel Thursday morning. Instead of drinking you'll be getting fresh air, exercise and the occasional addrenaline rush of dodging a running deer in the dark.
