RE: [natchezbicycleclub] Christmas Lights Bike Night

I rode without lights the other night, but not really a good idea.  If we have enough people with lights, the ones without could ride in the middle of them.  The neighborhoods are lit up pretty good with street lights.  We can look at the weather a few days ahead and pick a night when it's not too cold.  We can start the ride on an uphill and warm up.  Works for me, but may not work for some.

Maybe we could get an escort to ride behind us.

don't have any.

Subject: [natchezbicycleclub] Christmas Lights Bike Night

Hey Guys,

I was riding last night through some of the neighborhoods looking at
the Christmas lights and thought it would be fun to get a group
together and have a night ride before Christmas and ride around and
look at the Christmas lights ("Christmas Lights Bike Night"). We could
start at Trinity and cross over into the hills. Then cross back over
into the trees by Paul Greens, come out at Berry's and go down and
behind The Ford Place then back and into Village Green area. Then we
could cross over at Parkway and go downtown and that's as far as I got,
but we can add to that.

Maybe we could come up with a way to raise money for toys for needy
children in the process. Afterwards, we could have hot chocolate and
vote on the best display. Maybe give a prize or something. Any ideas?

I agree on the lights, a group would be much safer, and a lot more fun. We'd be quite a sight rolling down the streets with lights flashing and blinking all...
