Here are my lines, assuming Scott Nichol will be on the injured
reserve, to start the season...
Paul Kariya - David Legwand - Martin Erat
Steve Sullivan - Yanic Perreault - Scott Walker
Scott Hartnell - Greg Johnson - Adam Hall
Darcy Hordichuk - Vernon Fiddler - Jeremy Stevenson
There's a good article on The Tennessean.com today about Tootoo's
chances at making the team. It brings up what I've said before about
him not having the type of season Nashville had hoped he would last
year in AHL Milwaukee.

Vernon Fiddler, with his previous games in Nashville under his belt,
has proven he can play at the NHL level (at least temporarily).
Jerred Smithson's last two pre-season games were bad. I think he'll
be passed over for Nichol's open spot.
And I'll be quite surprised if Jeremy Stevenson doesn't make the
team. He's done very well in camp for himself and deserves to play
in the NHL. And I still contend that he's an untapped source of
extra goals.
I can also see Scott Hartnell playing on the second line a lot in
place of Scott Walker.
Anyhoo...
