Not exactly a Preds thing....
But I feel as if I know a lot of you guys through the Preds. I delivered my
baby boy Daelin (DAY lin) at 12:54 Wednesday morning. So we have a new
Predators fan, even if he doesn't know it yet!

If you missed my original post under this subject, I said...
"The extra man position could just as easily go to Stevenson or
Tootoo, or even Arkhipov, Erat and Hall, depending on how these guys
look going into the playoffs, how well each permanent line is
playing as a unit, and what kind of play we'll need against our
first round opponents."
That said, I agree with your comments on Denis Arkhipov, and
wouldn't be disappointed at all if he finds himself in the pressbox.
I like all four other players I mentioned a LOT more. I was a Jeremy
Stevenson booster the first time he came through Nashville; and,
although he's been struggling lately on offense, Adam Hall's
defensive game is great. (I'd like to see him on a line with Greg
Johnson again.)
According to The Tennessean, Arkhipov will be pushed down to the
fourth line between Jim McKenzie and Jordin Tootoo, and Sergei
Zholtok will center a line between Martin Erat and Andreas
Johansson. If McKenzie and Tootoo are playing, we'll probably see
either Stevenson or Hall out of the line-up. (IMO, the only thing
McKenzie really brings to the team is experience. Of course, we may
need that come playoff time.)
Anyhoo...
