Re: NAS 1 STL 4

Adam Hall did an interview with a local news sportscaster (Hope
Hines if you care to know) and confirmed that thought you had,
Chris... he said that several were feeling low due to the flu. I
would venture a guess that Vokoun had the symptoms pretty stronge if
he chose to sit out. Everyone I have spoken to in the Preds Boosters
agree with that thought considering he played a few games last
season on a broken foot.

I went to the game with 11 others and the stats really are pretty
accurate. The guys looked tired, so maybe the flu was a real
adversary that night. I have to say that the air horn "Let's Go
Blues" chant is quite obnoxious, but it is also something we need
for the fans in Smashville. It was about the only time the fans
really cheered (outside of scoring). Just my thoughts on the game.
All the fans I spoke to were very nice and we all had a blast,
despite the loss.

What happened tonight? I won't blame Tomas Vokoun. I'd like to know how many other guys were playing with the flu (aside from Vokoun), and how bad they had it....
