I liked Tomas Kloucek, but someone had to go. (Of course, now Stan
Neckar is injured; shouldn't be out long though.) As for the Mike
Dunham trade, in retrospect, I would have settled for a straight-up
deal for Marek Zidlicky (my write-in vote for the All-Star Game).

Ben Simon played his first game with Atlanta tonight, while Kloucek
was a healthy scratch. As for the two prospects we got, I'm not sure
about D Kirill Safronov, but F Simon Gamache could turn out great.

Gamache had an excellent junior career, culminating in 2001 when he
won the QMJHL championship with Val-d'Or and being named play-off
MVP. Then he won the ECHL championship with Greenville in 2002,
sharing the play-off MVP award with G Tyrone Garner.

Check out Joy of Hockey and/or the Internet Hockey Database for
Gamache's stats (or Safronov's, for that matter)...
