to Atlanta for D Kirill Safronov and F Simon Gamache.
Suspect this is to avoid having to "give" Kloucek away on waivers
when we tried to send him to Milwaukee. I also suspect that we won't
see Gamache or Safronov in Nashville until next season at camp,
barring injuries.
I am betting that Kloucek was offered and Atlanta asked for Simon
(or another Forward). Ben Simon used to play for Chicago (AHL) and
was pretty solid with them and that is Atlanta's AHL team, so it
wouldn't be to unheard of for them to ask for him back, right?
Anyway, we say so long to Kloucek... and that means we can't start
Dunham anymore! But Rem Murray OR Marek Zidlicky alone were a steal
for Dunham... much less all three that we got! Kloucek was good for
his time here, but he is too injury prone to make it much longer in
the NHL. And that is sad to me.
