Re: Looking ahead

I for one am looking forward to the next season. But I also look
forward to the season after that and the one after that. I love
hockey. I like the fact I have the opportunity to watch a hockey
team in town (professional or not). What I hate is when people start
their negative chat about the preds and claim to be preds fans.

Look, if you want to whine and cry because the guys didn't make it
to the playoffs in 5 years, go ahead, but please take it offline to
your own little band of whiner friends. I come here to chat with
fellow preds fans and try to have a good time with it. I find it
increasingly difficult to chat over the crying and moaning.

Our goal tending seemed to improve when we traded Dunham. I feel
that Vokoun can only get better and I think that if Trotz can get
the guys to work together and start shooting more and crashing the
net like they did in the middle of the season, they might surprise
themselves to see what they can accomplish even with the injuries.

But I am just a hopeful who wants to have a good time and not get
all teary eyed when they lose.

I went to the game against Colorado here when they spanked us, and I
gotta say I had a good time even at that game. It was a pleasure to
get to watch players like Roy, Sakic and Foote on the ice. I am
saddened I did not get to see Lemieux play and I hope he decides to
give it another season and I hope he comes to N'ville. I would like
to see him play live.

So, have a drink to next season and lay off the baby pills. GOOOOO
PREDS!!!
