I wonder what happend? It must be a serious issue for him to leave
right before the finals.

Congrats to Ronning and Brunette for winning the serious for the Wild
and advancing the Western Conference Finals.

I just got my Preds season ticket group set. Two seats every year
since 1998, baby!

Hope everyone is doing well.

Joe

Kjellberg leaves for family reasons

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Anaheim right wing Patric Kjellberg has left the
team for unspecified personal reasons and isn't expected to be
available for the Western Conference finals, coach Mike Babcock said
Wednesday.

Kjellberg, 33, has been used mostly on penalty killing this season.
He played in 76 games and had 19 points, including eight goals,
during the regular season.

The native of Sweden had appeared in each of the Ducks' 10 playoff
games and had no points.

Babcock said Kjellberg left for family reasons. Asked if he thought
he would be back for the series that begins Saturday at either
Minnesota or Vancouver, Babcock said, "I don't think so."

"I'm sure it was a tough decision for him," Babcock said.

Anaheim acquired Kjellberg from Nashville on Nov. 1, 2001 for Petr
Tenkrat.
