looks like the Preds made a "to be seen" great move in getting the
rights to goalie Ed Belfore. My spider senses see a very interesting
trade setting up for the Preds. With all the teams looking for
goalies this coming season, the Preds look like they could package
Belfore and a few draft picks for that needed "player". Or what about
keeping Belfore this Fall and offering a Dunham and draft picks to a
very hungry team? Would we get the same "player" for Dunham and picks?
Either way, it looks and smells like the Preds are going to pull the
trigger with someone. The Blue's Scott Young might be "too old" for
us, but Martin Gelinas, from Carolina looks good. I would probably
look for a 3-way deal with Belfore. Carolina does not need a Belfore
goalie but if "Cujo" Joseph leaves the Leafs and goes to the Wings or
Rangers, the Preds are looking good to pick-up the "player" probably
from the Rangers.
