the mountain bike and run trails are still in need of work. We will be working the trails this Sat & Sun, Dec 27-28 noon to sunset. If the weather is good we follow up with a swim and a bonfire. The trail work is trimming the overgrowth, moving fallen logs, bridge rebuilding and there may be some new course cut.

Where; Willow Run Quarry 9200 Collier Blvd          (CR 951)  2 miles south of I-75 just south of San Marino apartments just north of Crackling Jacks if you are coming north from Rattlesnake Hammock

 

 

Sunday Jan 4th is the first 2009 Sand & Stone Triathlon start is at noon. Great spectating, we will have the slime pits again this year, followed by a cook out.

Location; Willow Run Quarry 9200 Collier Blvd (CR951) at the Superior Stone decorative stone sales yard

Distance; 1000 yards swimming, 6 miles mountain bike and 3 miles run. Start with a swim, finish with a swim and the run has a couple of short swims imbedded. We have as many teams as individuals.

 

This is a training event no fee!
