Greetings NATS,
We are going to try to put together teams for the Edison Festival of
Light 5K. If you haven't done this running race before it is a
Southwest Florida classic. The entire race route is lined with
people two or three deep who are waiting for the parade to start. It
is also a great race to bring the family, as they can view the parade
after the race and during the post race festivities.
Okay, enough promotion, here are the details. Teams must send in
their race entries together. So, I'll be the point man for this
operation. I have posted a race application on the NATS Yahoo group
site. If you are interested in this exciting opportunity than print
the application, complete it, make out your check to Edison Festival
of Light, and send it to me before Friday, February 8. I must get
your completed application before Saturday, February 9, because I
will be sending in the team entries on Sunday, February 10. Do not
fill out any of the team information as I will do that when it is
determined how many teams we will put together and the categories
that they will be entered. We are going to try to put together four
teams: female open, female masters, male open, and male masters.
This will require a total of 20 triathletes. If we have more we can
