Greetings NATS,
The Naples Pathway Coalition Bicycle Brunch is set for Sunday,
January 27, 2008 at 7:00 am. It is not too late to register! This
promises to be a great event and is something the NATS should
support. Proceeds from the event go to promote pathways in Collier
County. The event offers a 10, 20, 62, and 100 mile fully supported
road ride with a brunch following the ride from Moe's Southwest
Grill. The start and finish is at Lowdermilk Park. Registration,
packet pick-up, and continental breakfast begins at 6:30 with the
100 mile ride starting at 7:00, the 62 mile at 8:00, the 20 mile at
8:30, and the 10 mile at 9:00. The cost is $30 for NPC Members, $35
for non members, and one child age 10 or under may ride free with
each paid parent/guardian. Any additional children are $10 each. T-
shirts or tank tops are guaranteed to paid adult riders who register
before January 14, 2008. Registration can be done online at
http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1471083. Early
packet pick-up is available at The Bike Route, 655 Tamiami Trail
North, on Saturday, January 26 from 10 am-2 pm. I will be riding
the 62 mile ride and hope to see many NATS supporting a terrific
cause.
The NATS will again be riding on Sunday, January 13 at 7:00 am from
the Norris Pool. The route will include the new Imperial/Three Oaks
segment just completed in Lee County.
Train hard and be safe.
