Thank you Mike and everybody who attended.
What a fantastic first tournament for me. I'm glad we were able
to host the tournament in such a large venue where many outsiders could
be exposed to our sport. The skill level at the tournament was
very high and we had a bunch of fierce competitors. I had a blast
and it was wonderful to be tested by so many different folks in my first
time out. Thanks to all the great sports and in particular to Leo,
who graciously withdrew from the tournament in the final round due to
equipment shortages. What a great example of the kind of folks
that we meet when we practice knightly arts.
Thanks Jeremy, for giving us a venue to make all this happen,

I want to give a big thanks to Jeremy for Marshaling the Mettle and Might
Tournament on Saturday!!
Big thanks to Stephanie for keeping score and keeping things running
smoothly!
A great job was done by all of the Squires who helped to keep us going.
Thank you to all of you who came out and competed. Everyone who came out,
fought very well. It was an honor to be amoungst you all.
Congratulations to Nikki for winning the Aluminum Longsword competition
against a large field of competitors with many different styles. (I think
she probably deserved Most Chivalrous too.)
The Reverend James Tewksbury was the TOURNAMENT CHAMPION with the highest
overall score for all of the steel competitions.
He was also the winner of the Steel Duel competition. Great job Jim!!
Matthew Atwater was the winner in the '10 Strikes' Steel competition.
Congradulations Matt.
Mike Nericcio survived to be the winner of the 'Hero Pit'.
Thank you, everyone for your support. I look forward to crossing swords
with you again.
Mike
