There will be an Aluminum Longsword tournament at The Connecticut
Renaissance Faire in Hebron Ct. on Saturday October 7th. This
tournament will be hosted by the International Armoured Combat
League.

The tournament style will be a Duel-
Victory: strike opponent on head or torso, or 2 strikes to any limb.
First combatant to be defeated in two bouts will lose that round.
This is a double elimination tournament, combatants will be allowed
to lose two rounds before being removed from the tournament.

Armour requirements:
fencing mask with back of the head protection of at least leather,
padded gambeson,
gorget,
elbow and knee cops,
hockey gloves or equivalent hand protection,
groin protection.
Please try to look as period correct as possible.

Weapons will be provided- Valintine Armoury aluminum longsword
wasters.

Contestant requirements: Must be 18 years of age to compete. There
will be a $10- entry fee into this competition.
