Correct - except that we count losses not wins so both people can lose if
they double hit. This is to encourage good swordsmanship.
Is there thrusting allowed?
No - too dangerous. It was even excluded in many later medieval tourneys.

Halfswording is legal. You may grab your own blade but not your opponants.

Correct

No

Upto the marshals but will probably have one marshal keeping track of one
fighter's hits.

Yup, armbands - possibly

Whistle, horn, explosion... whatever we decide.

>HERO PIT- please elaborate.
Everyone lines up. the first person steps into the designated fighting
arena. The next person in line enters and they fight a duel. The winner
stays in the arena and the loser goes to the back of the line. The next
combattant in line steps in and fights the winner of the previous duel. When
every contestant has had at least 3 fights in the arena, that tourney is
over. The person with the most victorys wins.

Yup. Like modern martial arts competitions.

Same rules as duel. No pushing.

I'm thinking all different styles must be done at a tourney. Yes, it could
just be individual ones or just team, but if you choose one catagory, you
must do all tourneys.

Correct. We can probably have averages of standings in each individual
tourny style, but only overall placings will be considered.
Individual points

>Can a team have more than four members, but only enter four per tournament?
Yes. Only teams of 4 may enter. One group could enter 2 teams of 4 if they
wished, or more if they have the people but each one is considered a
different team. They may have one listed standin in case someone gets hurt.
If another gets hurt, they may withdraw or continue a person down.

See above.

Dont really care if someone bops from team to team. It's only the teams that
get the points not the individual person. They wouldnt be able to be in
multiple teams in a single tournament though...
