hey guys does any one of u guys the knw which cedia chassie will fit the evo VII
chassie,i knw the donor car which is the cedia has undergone some chassie twicks
to accomodate the torque and power of the evo engine at the same has made it
regit to withstand the activation of the differentials. So will the chassie in
the cedia 1500cc work or the 1800 cc one or both wouldnt be a problem?thanks

Lanka, here v hv the most wackiest tax structure in the world, here a brand new
evo 7 will cost around Rs.4.5mil to 5mil(2.0L car tax is 200% of the value of
the car and more for luxury stuff) and a used unreg one will cost around 4mil.i
can buy a cedia for 1.3mil and whole conversion pck will cost around 1mil,so it
all adds up to say 2.5mil.plus do the neccessary touch ups total will be around
2.7mil...and the place im buying the stuff from and the experience mechanic wil
gurantee me a good car at the end of the day.
so im saving 1.3mil which is lot here...anyway thanks for the thots,

that trouble for a conversion? Why not
just sell your current car and then buy a genuine 7? (Assuming of course
that this is possible where you live.) It sounds like it might be a cheaper
option in the long run as you're talking about lots of work here to get
something that probably won't be as good in the long run...
Just a thought...

thanks for all the information.yeah wiring will be a prob so will redoing
the floor plan and finding the evo GTA. pck.well considering all those
thoughtss and the presence of unrealiability and considering other
techinicality aspects on paperwork Iv decided to go for a evo 7 manual
tranny..do i need to do the rear quarter panel for that?i got to knw its a
direct fit to the evo7 is it true?bt still need to do the floor plan done
for 4WD.any ideas on that?bringing wrecks can be prob cos there is no

conversion onto a Cedia there
are now a number of things to consider.
1: The GTA is AWD, therefor the options are A: redo
the rear floor of your car to accommodate the AWD
system from a donor car. B: Block off the gearbox
driveshaft and run with the GTA engine/trans as a
front wheel drive.
there are plenty of Evo's and often GTA's coming
through the Japan auctions damaged. But it would be
easier, and quicker and far less frustrating to buy a
slightly damaged evo from Japan or the USA and just
use that car. What you wish it do can be done, but it
wont be easy and will be touching on expensive with no
guarantees it will all work, especially with all the
wiring etc that will need to be connected to your
current car's wiring..
