thanks for all the information.yeah wiring will be a prob so will redoing the
floor plan and finding the evo GTA. pck.well considering all those thoughtss and
the presence of unrealiability and considering other techinicality aspects on
paperwork Iv decided to go for a evo 7 manual tranny..do i need to do the rear
quarter panel for that?i got to knw its a direct fit to the evo7 is it true?bt
still need to do the floor plan done for 4WD.any ideas on that?bringing wrecks
can be prob cos there is no assurance..

are now a number of things to consider.
1: The GTA is AWD, therefor the options are A: redo
the rear floor of your car to accommodate the AWD
system from a donor car. B: Block off the gearbox
driveshaft and run with the GTA engine/trans as a
front wheel drive.

there are plenty of Evo's and often GTA's coming
through the Japan auctions damaged. But it would be
easier, and quicker and far less frustrating to buy a
slightly damaged evo from Japan or the USA and just
use that car. What you wish it do can be done, but it
wont be easy and will be touching on expensive with no
guarantees it will all work, especially with all the
wiring etc that will need to be connected to your
current car's wiring..
