The wrestlers of the MWF descended on the Vets Center for Ground Zero ready to
go to war and that's exactly what they did. Owner Timothy Longbottom was unable
to attend, but left a MWF old schooler "Honest" Dean Sawyer as his acting
Commissioner. He was introduced by the new Ring Announcer KC Scott, and he laid
everything out and we got under way with the first match of the night, the
highly anticipated "Grudge Match" between The Perfekt Punk and "The Natural"
Brandon Powers. It was definitely billed correctly, the first few minutes
weren't wrestling at all, it was straight up fight! These two went at it more
heavy than anyone expected. Brandon letting us all know that he was still in the
game and Punk definitely showed everyone he is in this for keeps. Brandon took
it to him though and gave Punk his another lesson in why he's where he is in the
pecking order. But with a lucky lightning bolt (aka some outside interference
from Chris Solar), The Perfekt Punk came out on top over Powers in his first
notable win. You can bet that Brandon isn't gonna let this slide too easy.

The next bout of the night was the "Solitary Confinement" Match between AG
Smooth and "The Loose Cannon" Hojo Devlin. The refs were tied to the ring rope
via handcuffs, and each combatant had to climb to the top turnbuckle to get the
key suspended on top of a pole. This match was as rough as we thought it would
be, these two have been engaging in several smaller battles over the last few
weeks but the war went down Saturday night! The two went back and forth in a
scramble to get the coveted keys to unlock a ref, which eventually the two found
that spot. Smooth most notable pin attempt utilized his feet on the ropes and
would've gotten him the victory but his advantage was short lived. The two gave
it everything they had and more but in the end it was Hojo coming out on top
over Smooth with a vicious Chokeslam that quite possibly put an end to this
rivalry...for now.

The third match of the evening saw "The Specialist" Patton Jones challenge "The"
Lexx Wolfe for the North American/People's Championship in a "Falls Count
Anywhere Match". As expected it started out in the ring, with Jones taking it to
the champ like we've not seen him do before. He was truly a man on a mission.
Lots of high flying tactics with Wolfe countering every time he could, sometimes
to no avail. The match spilled out onto the floor and worked it's way all over
the building, eventually leading the two combatants into the concession stand!
Lexx sent Patton flying over the bar into the stand and followed him in as chips
exploded out the window. The two fought their way back out with Patton having
the upper hand, comfortable enough of an edge for him to enjoy a water and quick
snack as he left the Concession area! The battle found it's way back into the
ring though, taking the ref out as collateral damage in the war. Jones came out
with the win, after a new ref joined the fray but the decision was reversed by
the original ref due to Patton striking him. It was obviously unintentional, but
sadly for Patton rules are the rules. Lexx walked out still champion but I would
be the farm that Jones still has the Gold in his sights.

After a short intermission it was time for the co-main event, Great Awesome
Yeah's J-Prep and "The Queen City Classic" Chris Solar, accompanied by their
new...um..."handler", "Handsome" (really?!) Johnny Crook taking on The Sons of
Millennium's "Outlaw" Keith Matthews in a match pitting the MWF Tag Titles vs
Solar's precious ponytail. Former Ruff Ryder partner Hojo once again came to his
aid to help save the titles from their sparkly doom in the hands of Crook and
his "boys". The two teams went back and forth tearing each other down in the
process. With the addition of Punk and Crook on the outside helping with some
illegal teamwork Outlaw and Hojo were outnumbered from the word go, but still
threw everything they had at them. Another wrench was thrown in when Smooth came
out and yanked Hojo out of the ring, the two fighting out of the arena.
Capitalizing on the moment, Prep then threw Outlaw out to the floor to a waiting
Punk, who then began putting the boots to him in hopes of heightening their new
found advantage. This did not set well with Brandon as he then ran out to remove
Punk from the equation. Powers then threw some needed assistance Outlaw's way
and Gator Rolled Prep and placed Outlaw over him for the pin. Solar made a quick
escape to the back, but was carried kicking and screaming back to the ring over
the shoulder of Patton Jones. In the end, to everyone's joy, they kept the gold
in the good guy's hands and with some help from the back held Solar down so
Outlaw's daughter could cut lose those long locks. To add a little more salt to
the wound, they then "pinned" the ponytail to J-Prep's waiting butt!

The crew then took to placing the cage in place for the night's main event, "The
Doomsday Cage" Triple Threat Match. The MWF Champion Mikado defended the belt
against both Tha Sycho Supastar and "The Alley Rat" Pitt. Announced that night
as a special referee, was the recently rehired Trey Williams, Mikado's former
manager turned rival who Mikado sent packing in a "Loser Leaves" some months
back. Williams had assured Timothy Longbottom he was hoping to regain trust and
this was his big chance. The three drew in and as Sycho motioned for he and Pitt
to work together, Pitt blasted him with a shot to the head. Mikado joined in and
for a few moments the two worked together...that is until a pinfall was
attempted and then it was every man for himself! Mikado was the first to obtain
one of the pre-chosen weapons, he quickly went for his Nunchaku sticks and went
to work on the heads of both Sycho and Pitt. Sycho went for his Singapore Cane
unsuccessfully several times and eventually did get it, but not before Pitt got
his steel chair. The three pummeled each other relentlessly, and quite frankly
beat the living crap out of one another. Both Pitt and Sycho were bloodied from
the battle, how the Japanese-American managed to avoid losing some of his mixed
blood is anybody's guess. All three of the men also used the cage to their
advantage, with Pitt walking the ropes and cage to drop on Sycho who earlier
dove off onto The Monster. Mikado (who defied doctor's strict no top rope orders
stemming from his previous shattered ankle injury) threw a risky top rope
Moonsault onto the other two as they fought below. Clearly safety was nobody's
concern that night. Sycho snuck in the Instant Stardom on the Champion, but
before the pin could be made Pitt broke the count. He then put Sycho in the
Bring Tha Noize but Mikado stopped that count as well. Pitt then went to
Powerbomb the champion but as he went into the air gave Pitt a shot to the head
causing him to drop the Champion. Pitt stumbled to the corner and Mikado set up
the steel chair and landed a flying Shining Wizard off the chair onto Pitt which
caused him to fly over the top rope into the cage. As Pitt fell to the canvas,
the "reformed" Trey Williams produced a set of handcuffs and locked Mikado to
the bottom giving Sycho the cheap and easy pin, thus becoming the new Champion.

Trey's night wasn't over, as acting Commissioner Dean Sawyer ran out furious and
fired Trey for his blatant treachery. He obviously didn't learn from the first
time he double crossed Mikado and Sawyer made up for it by locking the cage and
leaving Williams at the hands of Mikado. He tried to escape and run, and Mikado
toyed with him for a moment before nailing him with the handspring elbow and
slapping on the Akamataa Choke. After the cage was unlocked, Mikado threw Trey
over his shoulder and carried him out the front door, throwing him to the cold
ground!
