The US Paralympic Committee is looking for a pilot to replace Katie
Compton on the tandem. If you (or an athlete you coach) meets the
following criteria, please contact Craig Griffin at

Eligibility
• Must be female, a US Citizen and a USAC racing license holder and
18 years of old (by Aug 15, 2007)
• Must be able to attend the designated training camps and races
• Cannot have raced for a UCI registered team or the US National Team
since August 15, 2004)
Physiological/Performance Traits
• LT power or 20 minute power of 250W (or 4 W//kg)
• 5 min power > 320W
• 1 min power >510 W
• Sub 4 min Standing 3K pursuit
• Sub 39 sec standing 500m TT
The coaching staff will consider athletes who have some, if not all,
of the traits.
