As most of you know March 3rd is the first race of the season in Kentuckiana.

The series will consist of 7 events this year with a total prize list of $4450
in cash. This
does not count the overall which is based on the total amount of riders in the
series plus
added cash from the presenting sponsor Apex Physical Therapy. http://

Several new courses and races will debut this year:
Team Bolla has a new road course in Henryville, IN described as a 9 mile loop
with gently
rolling terrain. If you have Google Earth, download the .kmz file from the
series website
and do a fly through.
New promoter Lindsey Wilson College will promote the Green River Road Race in
Columbia, KY. The 25 mile loop is one that has been used in the past for NCCA
Collegiate
events. (Juniors: Lindsey Wilson College has a cycling scholarship program)
NOTE:
Columbia, KY is on Central Time.
The Louisville Firefighters Team will put on the Iroquois Park Circuit Race
using the bottom
loop of the park.
The Navy Week Criterium will have a $1500 prize list and is of course sponsored
by the US
Navy and promoted by the Papa John's team.
Points: All 7 events will count towards the series overall. Lexington will be
double points.
IF YOU HAVE NOT PURCHASED YOUR LICENSE DO IT NOW!
You must present a valid 2007 USCF license at registration to enter any race. If
you are a
Cat 1,2,3, Master and do not have your license you will be required to buy one
before you
can race. It's easy to do online and you can get a receipt for those of you who
will wait
until the last minute to purchase one.
Only Category 5 Men and Category 4 Women who do not have a valid racing license
may
purchase a one-day license for $10.00 at registration.
All the promoters of the series highly suggest that you REGISTER ONLINE.
Preregistration
takes the stress out of race day for both the promoter and you the rider. We
can preassign
your number and have your release ready to sign.
All riders will keep their numbers through out the series but will be required
to sign a
release at each event and of course pay entry fees. If you lose your number,
you will have
to purchase a new one for $10.00.
To promote good will in the respective communities, $1.00 of your entry fee will
be given
to a local charity.
