Duluth Classic Stage Race
This Memorial Day Weekend the 2nd Annual Duluth Classic Stage race is proud to announce the addition of a 4th stage of the race to make for a complete 4 day racing experience.
The race will be scored on total GC for all categories (Cat5 excluded). The new stage is the classic Jay Cooke State Park Road Race just south of Duluth, Minnesota. The rest of the event will be held on the same courses as last years debut event. A time-trial on Friday kicks off the event followed on Saturday with the South Range Road Race. After the Jay Cooke RR the race turns to the streets of downtown Cloquet for a criterium.
The Duluth Classic is fast becoming a top stage amateur stage race in the Midwest. Some may remember the old Tour of 10,000 Lakes, the Duluth Classic is Minnesota's attempt to bring back the glory of multi-day stage racing over Memorial Day weekend.
