Dear Riders,

Due to the rain/thunderstorms in the Chicago area the Elaine Nekritz
Trophy/Women's Championship Scratch Race and Elite Qualifier has been
move to Thursday, August 30.

The Elite women will race 35 laps and the category IV women will race
15 laps. The race will be peppered with premes to keep the pace
moving so step of those pedals ladies! The winner of the Elaine
Nekritz Trophy/Women's Championship Scratch Race will take the
Illinois State/Velodrome/Elite Qualifier honors (note: you must be an
Illinois State License holder to claim the State Championship)

Top five women will qualify to race in the Elite Track Championships
to be held in October in CA. For more information on the Elite Track
Championships visit www.usacycling.org/track.
