Funny, you know I wasn't! It was daylight and clear, even if I was wearing it, the only difference would have been that I would have had a reflective vest on, while laying in the road with a broken back. I did have it with me though.

Nothing a little duct tape and a spoke wrench can't fix.

Sorry I have not been in touch for a while.
Today while riding my single speed TREK to work I was hit bay a car on the left side just behind my leg. I hit the car and was thorn spinning though the air for a short distance and came to rest on my right side. The bike was spilt into 2 pieces right at the headtube weld. I was taken to Madigan Army Medical Center where I was diagnosed with a fractured L1 vertebrae. It hurst like hell but that is a good thing since it means I get pain meds (good ones) and I am not paralyzed. I am in a back brace not and can not move without assistance. Doc says I should be back in action in 3 months and the back will be almost good as new in 12 month.
Well, looks like I may get a new singlespeed commuter, didn't get to talk to the guy that hit me very much since they got me to the hospital rather quickly. Who would of though US drivers were worse than Koreans. All I wanted to do was ride my bike 10 miles to work a few time a weeks so I don't get fat like DZ.
Take care and I hope everything is going well in Korea. RIDE SAFE.
