Wed is coming, players between 1200-1600 please sign up for tomorrow's team competition. Last Friday we had a 7 vs. 7 competition, team B with MaoLin, Mark, Leland, Lu, Gene, and Hung-Jen defeated team A Peter, Cong, Kit, Channing, George, Chiping, and Randy. It was a thrill to get to play with so many players smoothly.
We already have whole bunch of players signing up this week's Wed and Fri competition, so pleasesend out your request ASAP to hungjen@....
Ping Pong Dojo Team Competition Time: Wed 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm for player level 1200-1600 Fri 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm for player level 1600-2000 Format: 5-7 persons each team, you get to play every player on the other team Fee: To participate team competition, free for Ping Pong Dojo members, non-members $6. Cash prize pool $5 each person. Winning team gets to share all the cash prize.
Why playing team competiion at Ping Pong Dojo? Everytime you go in a club, you may end up with 2 situations. Firstly you cannot find any player to play with because you don't know anybody there. Sencondly you play with same group of players all the time because you know them so well. We basically solve both problems for you plus you play in a more serious atmosphere that would definitely help you improve your match. Another benefit that you will not find ant any other club is our coaches are on the side to help you give you coaching tips as your request. Please do not feel shy to ask for the help.
I must wrote down the scores wrong. I won against Seyed 3-1, please help correct it.

Hi! All
Congratulation to Aarsh Shah, Diane Jiang, Aashay Patel & Krish Avvari for being sponsored by Butterfly & ICC.
They will join other sponsored bay area players Ariel Hsing (Butterfly & ICC) and Lily Zhang (Jools & ICC).
All other ICC talented kids program students are fully sponsored by Juic & Paddle Palace.
We already received more than 60 entries (54 listed already and got 7-8 in the mail today) for our ICC California State open just in 3-4 days. Event number 19 is almost at max capacity. Looks like all the events will be sold out in one week.
____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ __ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail. yahoo.com
U1750 is full. The capacity is 32 and we have 39 entries so far. Only the first 32 entries will be guaranteed a spot. We are trying to find a solution to increase the capacity but there is no guarantee. If we haven't received your entries for the event, you definitely won't get a spot in this event.
U1950 is also full. (48) If you haven't turned in your entry, please do not enter the event.
U2100 is approaching the max cap (48), too. If you intend to play the U2100 event, do so now!

The U1950 event is limited to 32 entries since we will need to rearrange the court for the Open event. As of last night, there were 28 entries already. I'm sure it will be sold out by the deadline. If you want to play the event, turn in your entry early. First come first serve.
There is a small correction on Bruce's email. We will accept up to 48 entries in U1950 event. We already received a lot of entries in the mail today. It looks like all the events are going to be full by next week. If you are intrested to play in any event please register ASAP.
U 1750 is sold out
After receiving 8 more entries in U1750 by mail today we are already at 4 extra entries. We are not accepting any more entry for U1750 event.

Here is the rating result for Ping Pong Dojo Kids after Concord Youth Cup. Great improvement by Daniel. After 2 months of training at Dojo, his improvement is huge, up by 327pts. Hannah keeps moving up very quickly, she's up for more than 1200 pts for past year. Way to go, Hannah! Kevin also did a great job at age of 9 and only started taking private training for 6 months. I remembered he defeated a 900 player but the result is not showing that, not sure why? First tournament for Matthew, 8-year-old, with 6 months of training, 383 rating for very first tournament is actually awsome.
The Fremont Table Tennis Club is now open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7-10 PM. The membership cost is $100 for 6 months or a $5 drop-in. Our website is www.fremonttabletennis.com. Hope to see some of you there. Thanks!

Next time we could use a doubles match as a tie breaker. So the last 4 players get to play doubles to break the stalemate.

106 contests have been played. (as of 11/8) We've passed the mid-season. (208 contests in total for the season)
17 contests will be played this week. (up to 11/15)
The Cadet Division will be concluded this Sunday. The Alameda Cadets will host the playoff against Evergreen Top Spinners at 4 PM. The result of this contest will determine the
winner of the Cadet Division.
It is a good practice for teams to touch base before their contests.
