With regards to the U1675 winner, I believe it was Howard George Lindo. He also acquitted himself very well in the U1800s --- reaching the semi-finals before losing to the eventual champion in that event. A couple of MSCTT'ers that I believe played well in the U1675 event were Stephen Adams and Mr. Antonio Mattos Jr. (who I refer to as the YES! man for obvious reasons). Don't know if either of them made it as far as the finals, though. I think the YES! man knocked out Stephen but that could have been in the U1800 event and not the U1675 event.
I forgot to mention that Aroni Banerjee also made it to a final --- the U2050 final where he lost to Nelson. Aroni had a very good tournament in that he upset the #1 seed in that event --- Renjie Liu. I should know that since he borrowed my backup paddle for the tournament since he forgot his at home. So, excellent results with a paddle he hadn't even touched before that day. I guess I should have given him the other one since I didn't fare nearly as well with it as he did with my backup
. Perhaps you would agree since he beat you on the way to that final

.I also recollect that David Hanson did quite well in either the U2400 or U2900 doubles event --- or perhaps both. But I just can't recall just how well...

Indeed, I think Patrick could have won U1800 and U1925 if he entered. I am wondering who won
the U1625 event that prevented MSC from winning at least 2nd place on all events from 1425 to
2050.

It was Patrick who won U1550. Well, not that Patrick but Patrick Castro.

You have a perfect style to beat Chee Li. Good job! I owe you one!
