GrGuthrie,
I have the rubber dagger handles in stock,
$12ea. My guess is you have either
the 86-88 model or the 89-93 model. I don’t have the correct
dagger but I have the newer Equipe II daggerboard which could be retro fitted. Drill new holes for the pins. As for the plastic cover, I would just
leave it off. It’s really
just a cosmetic piece.
Hope this helps you get on the water

Subject: [mowind] Equipe parts?
We are also fans of Equipe's, and have two Equipe
Boards, probably
early vintage. I don't have them in fromt of me, I think they are XCS (?).
We need a few parts to keep them healthy and happy - the deck plates
over teh centerboard broke off, and one of the daggerboard "handles"
lost its rubber covering. We had lost one of the daggerboards, but I
think I found a replacement on a junked board in
for Spring to try it!
In any case, I had thought that there should be some junkyard(s) of
old broken Equipe boards where one could scavenge some such parts.
Anyone know of know of someone with some such thing lying in the dust
behind their garage? :-)
I did a bunch of emailing around last year, and didn't get any good
leads on such old parts.
